For sound protection reasons, it is necessary to encapsulate the new wood shredding machine. In order to achieve the required values, a double-shell roof and wall cladding with corresponding insulation is used. One particular challenge is the fact that the steel construction erected before installation of the machine needs to have openings large enough to allow installation of the machine. Roof and walls can only be closed off after installation of the machine.
